Wonderful place, Turkish-style coffee shop!! Amazing, and it leaves you speechless.
The chandeliers are beautiful, and the tea area is exquisite.
Since we arrived, Isabella was super friendly and attentive, doing an excellent job of customer service!! She approached us and offered samples of the products; however, we had already set our sights on the pistachio baklava—simply incredible. The delicate layer of pastry perfectly harmonized with the syrup and nuts! It's something hard to describe!
The tables, the details—truly a place I would love to have near where I live, to go every afternoon for a good Turkish coffee and delight in those sweets that envelop the senses.
This was the first time I had visited LOKUM in San Luis Obispo California. It is a wonderful store that is visually stunning! The Turkish coffee was perfect along with the Turkish delight candy. I can not think of any other store that is similar to this one. It is a unique experience that someone who is visiting San Luis Obispo should not miss. LOKUM is conveniently located near The San Luis Obispo Mission, on Higuera Street.
Absolutely gorgeous store! It caught my eye from the street and I HAD to go in. Coffee, tea, and a variety of Turkish wares to buy. Massive choices of baklava, Turkish delight, and other desserts. The Coffee menu has wonderful variety. Beautiful shop to explore and stop for a break in. I could have spent my entire paycheck here. Adored it!
Great vegan options! They had Turkish delight and more. Their pomegranate saffron dessert is by far my favorite; wish I got more of it. Their Turkish tea is also very good on a cold day.
Turkish coffee shop. Very unique and delicious. Must trying and highly recommend.
Best baklava I’ve ever had. All of the Turkish delight and other sweets beer very good as well. They’re generous with samples so you can take your time picking out your favorites. A small box costs about $35, but you can just select small pieces of each sweet if you wish. We also got the ottoman coffee which was good - but a unique taste (very earthy). Just a fun enjoyable experience for an out of the ordinary treat. We love coming here when we visit slo!
You must try their items at least once! The place is beautiful and the customer service is amazing! You can sample the products you want and add a coffee to go with it
I've been to Turkey and loved the food. The lokum and coffee is really good. I'm not sufficiently connoisseur to vouch that it's 100% identical or not, but I can't tell the difference.
The service is very friendly.
The decor is modern American shopping with Turkish infleunces, so while the atmosphere is good, it's basically targeted towards American shoppers and lacks the charm you'd get in an Istanbul shop. A missed opportunity to convey the experience. Hence the ding for Atmoshphe.
Either way, great place for lokum and coffee.
